Rana Provides Calm for What Would Otherwise Be an Arduous Journey

We toured India by car about half a dozen times over two weeks. Some highways have lanes. Some do not. Most drivers honk incessantly. When you experience India's highways, if you haven't yet, be prepared for culture shock. Rana drove us for over five hours from Delhi to the mouth of the Ganges and back, in one day. Amazingly, he provided us with a pleasing passenger experience. He used the horn much less frequently than our other drivers, yet managed to get us to our destination on time. Along the way, we talked about a broad variety of topics. Rana is an engaging teacher and listener. We would recommend Rana not only for driving, but for a tour. We will especially cherish our experience in Haridwar. Rana connected us with a living yet ancient culture there. His conversation and what we encountered in Haridwar was well worth the time we allocated for the day..
